Robert F. Ruiz has been named to the new position of chairman of InterContinental Micro Systems, a manufacturer of microcomputers in Anaheim. In addition, he continues to hold the title of president. Before co-founding ICM in 1981, Ruiz was vice president of engineering with Measurement Systems and Controls in Anaheim, which he helped found in 1979.
