Campus police and AT&T; officials are investigating the source of more than $1,000 worth of unauthorized long-distance telephone calls made during a University of Nevada Las Vegas basketball tour of Australia and New Zealand.
School officials would not confirm whether team members were involved in the unauthorized use of the telephone credit card.
Las Vegas Athletic Director Brad Rothermel said if athletes are involved, it could be an NCAA violation, depending upon the severity of the incidents.
Some of the calls were made from Tahiti and Australia during the recent Rebel South Pacific tour, according to Rothermel.
