Rain, Rain, Rain
I had the pleasure of reading Jerry Hulse’s article on Kauai (June 29) while vacationing on Kauai’s north shore. Omitted from the excellent article was any mention of the weather. It rains here a lot!
In fact, since our arrival on June 23, it has rained every single day . Usually it rains several times a day. And the days when it only rains once are usually those in which it never stops raining!
I think that people paying $135 a day for a room here deserve to be warned that Kauai’s north shore is one of the rainiest spots on earth.
When we need sun, we go to Poipu where it’s almost always sunny.
