LOS ANGELES COUNTY - News from July 21, 1986

Steven D. Dorfman, president of Hughes Communications Inc., has been elected a corporate vice president of Hughes Aircraft Co. and member of that company’s policy board. He will assist in the overall management of the company’s space and communications group, the El Segundo-based company said. Succeeding Dorfman as president and chief executive of Hughes Communications will be John E. Koehler, executive vice president of the subsidiary.

Separately, Hughes appointed as group vice presidents Louis M. Bogdanovic, James K. Easton and Milton E. Radant. In addition, group vice presidents Freeman B. Nelson and Richard S. Jamison were named managers of the engineering division and the F-15 program division, respectively.
