L.A. Man Found Dead on Mt. Fuji

TOKYO — The body of a 75-year-old tourist from Los Angeles was found over the weekend on a slope near a hiking trail halfway up Japan’s Mt. Fuji.
Yoshida police said the man carried a driver’s license identifying him as Carter Valentine Rabinoff.
Police said Rabinoff apparently fell, but the cause of death had not been determined.
