Hotel Opens in Mission Viejo

The Villa Del Sol, a 91-room, 57,000-square-foot retirement hotel developed at a cost of more than $4.5 million by California Retirement Villas Inc. of Costa Mesa, has opened at 23792 Marguerite Parkway, Mission Viejo.
The architect is Mark Hepp of Placentia, interior design is by Lydia Wang & Associates and construction is by K. J. M. Development. In addition to the living units, the facility has a central kitchen and dining room, lounges and recreational areas.
California Retirement Villas has developed and is managing retirement hotels in Placentia, Fullerton, San Juan Capistrano, Encinitas and San Diego before the current one, and plans to begin construction soon on a seventh in Rancho Cucamonga.
