A major fund-raising mark of $100,000 has been achieved by the Landscape Architecture Foundation/California Architectural Student Scholarship Fund to establish an endowment fund.
Interest earned from the endowment is expected to increase monies available for scholarships to aid students in pursuing landscape-oriented studies in Southern California.
Last year, scholarships totaled about $1,600. Scholarships worth $7,600 are expected to be awarded during 1986, according to Bob Cardoza, fund chairman.
