Construction is under way in Pasadena’s Lake-Washington Redevelopment Project on the $6-million North Lake Square neighborhood shopping center being developed by Watt/Johnson, a joint venture of Watt Commercial Development Corp. and Channing Johnson.

The center, located on a six-acre site on the west side of Lake Avenue between Washington Boulevard and Claremont Street, will be anchored by a 39,000-square-foot Boys Market and contain 40,000 square feet of retail shops in a heavily landscaped, pedestrian-oriented environment. The architect is Arun Phadnis and the contractor is Licha Construction, Reseda.
