While Rosenfield writes that Carson “hasn’t been interviewed in seven years . . . ,” it should be noted that I conducted a detailed one-on-one interview with Carson almost a year ago for a cover story in USA Weekend (Sept. 27, 1985), Gannett’s national Sunday magazine supplement with an estimated circulation of 14 million readers.
Calendar should be careful when stating such exaggerated claims of exclusivity.
