Woodland Hills Man Dies After Van Crashes Into Palm

A Woodland Hills man died Thursday night of injuries he suffered when the van he was driving slammed into a palm in North Hollywood, Los Angeles police said Friday.
The vehicle driven by Michael Belisle, 23, was eastbound Thursday on Ventura Boulevard at Ridgemoor Drive when it ran off the road about 8:35 p.m., Sgt. Mel Cunningham said.
Belisle was taken to Medical Center of North Hollywood, where he died about 9:20 p.m. from massive head injuries, Cunningham said.
