Edward Gradinger, former 20th Century Fox Film Corp. executive, has been named to the newly created post of president and chief executive of the television group of Los Angeles-based New World Pictures. Gradinger joins New World after serving six years as senior executive vice president and chief operating officer at Fox. From 1974 to 1980, he was senior vice president-business affairs at Columbia Pictures Television.
