Corona Man Still in Hospital After Crash : 2 Drivers Meet Head-to-Head in Accident on I-15

CORONA — Two allegedly drunk drivers went head-to-head on Interstate 15, and both ended up with serious injuries, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said Monday.
The two cars collided head-on Sunday morning in the southbound lanes near Magnolia Avenue, CHP Officer Mike Devine said.
Kirk J. Parker, 24, of Wildomar was reported in critical condition Monday in Riverside General Hospital with head injuries, compound fractures of both legs and cuts on the face, hands, arms and upper body.
Luis E. Ramirez, 26, of San Bernardino suffered multiple compound fractures of the left leg and numerous cuts.
Ramirez was booked into the hospital’s jail ward on suspicion of felony drunk driving. He was reported in guarded condition Monday evening.
CHP officers said they also planned to file a drunk-driving charge against Parker, Devine said. Both men were driving about 55 m.p.h. and were alone in their cars when they crashed, Devine said.
