Student Tantrums

When a wild mob of undergraduates is allowed to intimidate the UC Regents, the question people ought to ask themselves is “What do they teach at UC?” Whatever it is, it is clearly no preparation for the civilized exercise of civil liberties. If they are learning anything, it’s that tantrums work.
Who teaches the course in applied tantrums? Iranian mullahs?
But as if that wasn’t bad enough, the stars of the kiddie vigilante show were a senior United States senator and the mayor of Los Angeles, would-be governor of the state. Both men are hotly running for office and showing their respect for due process and orderly procedures by courting the teen-age mob. The senator even complimented them for “showing leadership”!
