Cuban Women Defeat Japanese in Volleyball

KOBE, Japan â€”  The Cuban women’s national team lost the first two sets but fought back to beat the Japanese national team, 14-16, 7-15, 15-2, 15-12, 15-12 Sunday and win the NHK Cup women’s international volleyball tournament.

In another cup match, the South Korean national team defeated the Japanese junior national team, 15-12, 15-12, 15-5 for a 2-1 record to finish second.

The Japanese national team (1-2) finished third and the Japanese junior team (0-3) came in fourth.
