A man and four children were wounded, none seriously, by a shotgun blast from a passing car on East 103rd Street in the Jordan Downs housing project in South-Central Los Angeles, Los Angeles police said. “The four kids were hit by shotgun pellets,†police Sgt. Lon Salzman said. “They’re all in stable condition.†The man, 60, also suffered superficial wounds and was in stable condition at Martin Luther King Jr.-Drew Medical Center, he said. The names of the victims, including the children, ages 6 to 12, were not released. No arrests had been made.
