Police Saturday searched for a suspect in the shooting of a 25-year-old Westminster man. The shooting occurred in the parking lot of a plastics company where the victim worked.
Lt. Larry Hodges said Mario Jacques was found at 8:50 p.m. Friday bleeding heavily from two gunshot wounds.
Neighbors had called police to report two men arguing in front of Santa Ana Plastics at 13892 Enterprise Drive, Hodges said.
Jacques was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange where he underwent surgery, Hodges said. He was reported in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
The police spokesman said investigators have the name of a suspect, but he declined to disclose it.
