Bilingual Classes
I am in favor of a good bilingual program. I am not in favor of being transferred from my classroom or school, as was recently threatened, because I do not speak Spanish. Teachers in the Los Angeles School District are expected to learn Spanish on their own time, without pay. I doubt that this would be the case in private industry or the military.
