Kate Smith . . . As a child my mother always took great pride in placing my two older brothers and I in front of the TV set knowing we would be entertained in a healthy way for at least an hour. I can still remember seeing her on our small black and white singing “When the Moon Comes Over the Mountain.” Some of my sweetest childhood memories include Kate Smith. May God bless her!
