First-quarter 1986 sales of new homes in northern Orange County are up from that of the previous quarter, according to Roulac & Co., San Francisco-based real estate research firm that now owns and publishes the quarterly Residential Housing Survey.
“Our most recent survey shows that there was nearly one sale per active development of condominiums being made each week in north Orange County,” Diane Wilson, Southern California sales manager for Roulac, said.
“The sales rate, 0.90, indicates that builders are able to move their inventory much quicker than they were in the prior quarter” when the sales rate was 0.62. Wilson added that single-family homes were moving almost as rapidly, averaging 0.87 sales per week per active development.
