40% of Space in Downtown Tower Now Committed

Nearly 40% of the space in the 22-story, 446,923-square-foot Chase Plaza has been committed, according to a spokesman for Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services, leasing agent.
Five executed leases now account for 181,000 square feet of office space in the Treptow Development Co. project nearing completion at the southwest corner of 8th Street and Grand Avenue. The architects are Gin Wong Associates and Gensler & Associates.
The first and largest lease was signed by New York-based Chase Manhattan Bank for 86,000 square feet of space for its regional headquarters.
