Unocal Corp. Sets Up Brea Computer Center
Unocal Corp. has set up a companywide computer center at its research facility in Brea, a move that is bringing 100 new employees to Orange County, a spokesman said.
Most of the jobs added at the Fred L. Hartley Research Center were filled with transfers from Los Angeles and other Unocal facilities. A company spokesman said that the computer group forming at the Brea facility will handle assignments that in the past have been contracted out.
