Redondo Beach : Video Equipment OKd
The City Council moved ahead with plans to televise council meetings by authorizing the purchase of video equipment.
The council authorized city staff to receive bids and award a contract for two cameras, a video production system and monitors, estimated to cost $32,000.
City Manager Tim Casey said the equipment is expected to be installed in August and live broadcasts of the meetings could begin in September.
