Page, Wills Meet Tonight at Forum

Former heavyweight champion Greg Page, who has won only one of his last four fights, will extend his comeback tonight at the Forum when he fights Mark Wills in a quarterfinal bout of the Stroh’s heavyweight tournament.
Page, who had long been likened to Muhammad Ali, both in style and talent, was considered down for the count after losing his World Boxing Assn. title in his first defense. After Tony Tubbs defeated him a year ago, Page lost two fights in a row, then beat Funzo Banjo in Africa in April.
Page, 27, admits he just “plain messed up. I’m only human and entitled to make mistakes,” he said.
In the other scheduled tournament bout, Jerry (Wimpy) Halstead will fight Steve Eisenbarth.
