Lomita : Parking Ban on 249th St.

Parking has been prohibited on the north side of 249th Street between Pennsylvania Avenue and Cypress Street. Traffic Commissioner Rick Luther said the move was a response to a petition from residents.
In other actions, the City Council approved a $1,500 donation to the local Pop Warner youth football organization and appointed Margaret Estrada to a four-year term on the Parks and Recreation Commission, replacing Jack Mackel. She was previously a member of the Museum and Railroad Commission.
