Airport Tax in Bahrain

MANAMA, Bahrain — This Persian Gulf emirate has introduced an airport tax of $5.30 for all passengers leaving the country, airport officials reported. About 500,000 passengers use Bahrain’s international airport each year, and the tax could bring in up to $2.6 million annually.
