STANTON : Stabbing Victim Makes it to the Police Station
A man who claimed he was stabbed while he and two friends walking along a railroad right-of-way walked into the Stanton Police Dept. Friday afternoon before collapsing, a police spokesman said.
Lt. David Buntf said Esteban Valdevia, 31 of Stanton, stumbled into the main lobby of the police station at about 2 p.m. suffering from stab wounds to the chest and stomach. He was accompanied by two unidentified friends.
Buntf said the three men were walking along the railroad at South Katella Ave. between Beach Blvd. and Western Ave. when they were approached by three men who demanded their money. When the men refused, a scuffle ensued and Valdevia was stabbed.
