A landslide crashed down on about 120 Taiwanese tourists in a scenic gorge in central Taiwan, killing 14 of them, burying about 25 and injuring 28, police reported. Police said 200 rescuers had to stop digging for possible survivors at Taichi gorge because of darkness but will resume this morning. The gorge is about 90 miles southwest of Taipei.
