American U. Faculty Ends Beirut Walkout

BEIRUT — Faculty members at the American University of Beirut decided today to end an almost-two-week walkout and to resume teaching Thursday, university sources said.
The decision came one day after University President Calvin H. Plimpton appealed to teachers to go back to work.
