Chapman Signs Three Pitchers for Next Season

Pitchers Steve Halweg, Jim Bennett and Jeff Mooney have signed to play at Chapman College next season, the school announced Monday.
Halweg, a left-hander from Esperanza High School, was an All-Empire League selection and is 12-2 this season.
Bennett (18-3) is a left-hander from Fullerton College who was named to the All-South Coast Conference first team. Mooney (6-1), a right-hander from Cypress College, was named to the all-South Coast second team after going 6-1.
