Sri Lanka Rebels Kill 9

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Seven airmen and two civilians were killed by Tamil separatist guerrillas Friday in Sri Lanka’s eastern Trincomalee district, the Defense Ministry said. A spokesman said the nine died when rebels set off a land mine under a vehicle at Morawewa.
