USIU Signs Two Players
SAN DIEGO — Mark Moses, a 6-foot 3-inch guard from Rancho Santiago Junior College in Santa Ana, and Kelley Andrews, a 6-6 forward from Cerritos College, have committed to play basketball at United States International University, the school announced Wednesday.
Moses averaged 22 points for Rancho Santiago last season after transferring from Fullerton Community College. He was named to the All-South Coast Conference first team. Moses, a sophomore, played his high school basketball in Westminster at La Quinta High.
Andrews averaged 10.0 points in helping Cerritos to the state’s No. 1-ranking. He was a junior college teammate of Joe Yezback, USIU’s leading scorer last season.
