Sri Lanka Rebels Kill 3

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Two policemen and a civilian were killed Wednesday when Tamil separatist guerrillas ambushed a jeep in the northwestern village of Talaimannar, a Defense Ministry spokesman said. He said the guerrillas set off a land mine under the police vehicle and shot the three men, who were injured by the blast.
