CALIFORNIA - News from April 2, 1986
David R. Newstadt, 56, has been named president and chief executive of Sun-Diamond Growers of California, the Stockton-based produce cooperative. The appointment is effective May 1.
Newstadt replaces William F. Allewelt Jr., who had been serving as interim president since December.
