College Softball : Rancho Santiago Defeats Cypress

Lorraine Kalehuawehe pitched a strong six innings as Rancho Santiago defeated Cypress, 5-0, Wednesday in a South Coast Conference softball game at Cypress.
Kalehuawehe also doubled and scored a run. Lee Bladow scored two runs for the Dons (3-0, 13-2), and Kim Martin pitched one inning in relief.
Cypress managed six hits, with Char Schmitt getting a double and a triple.
Cypress (0-2, 14-7) is at Saddleback today.
In other South Coast Conference games:
Saddleback 1, Cerritos 0--Shanie Lockhart scored from second base on an overthrow to give the Gauchos (2-0, 6-1) the win at Cerritos. Cindy Riviere (4-1) was the winning pitcher.
Golden West 9, Mt. SAC 0--Regina Marchionni went 3 for 4 and drove in a run to lead the Rustlers at Golden West. Lisa Brady (8-2) picked up the win. Golden West (2-1, 14-3) is at Fullerton Friday.
Fullerton 5, Orange Coast 0--Sandra Williams went 2 for 3 as the Hornets (1-0) won at OCC.
