Ground Breaking Slated for Poway Senior Housing

Green Valley Manor, a $6 million, 60-unit senior citizen home in Poway, north San Diego County, being developed by Philip Butzen, will hold ground-breaking ceremonies Friday, according to Greg Reuel, vice president of K.L. Wessel Construction Co. Inc., builders of the project.

Designed by James P. Owen Architecture Inc., the project is located on a 2 1/2-acre parcel next to Pomerado Hospital. A skilled-nursing home is also nearby.

This will be Butzen’s third development in the area. The others are the Boulder Medical Center and an adjacent skilled-nursing facility.
