Soviets Seize 2 Danish Fishing Boats in Baltic

COPENHAGEN — Soviet authorities seized two Danish fishing cutters and their crews for allegedly fishing illegally in Soviet waters in the Baltic Sea, the Foreign Ministry said Tuesday.
Both vessels and their crews were being held at the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda, and the Danish Embassy in Moscow was making inquiries with Soviet officials, a spokesman said.
The two fishing cutters were from the Danish Baltic island of Bornholm, but the ministry said it has no details on specifics beyond that.
