Three more sheriff’s deputies have resigned during an investigation of alleged sexual misconduct that began with a young volunteer’s report that she had been raped by a deputy, San Bernardino County Sheriff Floyd Tidwell said. A total of eight sheriff’s employees have been suspended and three of them, one a woman dispatcher, quit earlier, Tidwell said.
