Vector Graphic Narrows Loss to 9 Cents a Share
Vector Graphic reported that its loss during the second quarter ended Jan. 4 narrowed to $669,000, or 9 cents per share. In the corresponding period the year before, it lost $1.7 million, or 21 cents per share.
The Westlake Village microcomputer maker, which filed for protection from its creditors under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in December, also reported that sales for the quarter were down nearly 64%, to $462,000.
For the six months ended Jan. 4, Vector Graphic lost $1.3 million, or 16 cents per share. During the same period the year before, it lost $3.6 million, or 45 cents a share. Sales for the six months were down 70% to $1.0 million.
