Planning Assn. to Give Awards

Two Los Angeles area educators will receive awards at the American Planning Assn.’s 1986 National Planning Awards program in Los Angeles, April 5-9.
Margarita P. McCoy, a professor at Cal Poly Pomona’s Department of Urban and Regional Planning, won the Distinguished Service Award for establishing the planning degree accreditation program and for commitment to APA.
Melville C. Branch, professor at USC’s School of Urban and Regional Planning, won the Distinguished Leadership Award for sustained contribution to planning for at least 10 years and for his writing.
