Valley Defeated in Overtime, 68-65

Tony Johnson scored six of his game-high 24 points in overtime to lead L. A. Trade Tech to a 68-65 win over Valley College in a Mountain Valley Conference basketball game Wednesday night.
Johnson sent the game into overtime when he hit two free throws with 50 seconds left in regulation. Valley worked the ball for a final shot but was unable to get off an attempt.
Trade Tech (14-9, 3-2) was also led by Mike Brown, who scored 20 points. Mario Lopez led Valley (10-14, 1-4) with 17 points.
