Sea World officials reported that a killer whale, only the eighth born in captivity, was born dead at the San Diego marine park last week. It was the second birth and death of a killer whale at Sea World in the last month. A 350-pound killer whale was born at the park Jan. 5, but died 11 days later of a viral infection and heart ailment.
