An argument between two Santa Ana men Sunday erupted into a shooting that left one man dead and the other sought by police.
Alvaro Gomez was found dead with bullet wounds in the chest when officers, responding to reports of shots, arrived at his home at 2440 S. Lowell St. at 3 p.m.
Lt. Robert Chavez said witnesses told officers that Gomez had argued with a man identified as Hermilo Medrano, 31, who allegedly drew a gun, fired several shots and fled.
