Leads Sought in Shooting Death: Police were seeking suspects in the shooting death Monday of a 24-year-old man whose body was found on a neighbor’s lawn.
Sgt. Ed Tunstall said that Anthony Joseph Stevenson was found lying face down on the lawn in front of a house in the 1200 block of East Everett Street at 11:05 a.m. Stevenson had been shot once in the back, he said.
Stevenson lived several doors away, Tunstall said.
Tunstall said neighbors could not provide investigators with descriptions of possible suspects.
