Patrons of Mexico’s National Museum of Anthropology are offering a reward of $111,000 for the recovery of more than 140 pre-Columbian artifacts stolen on Christmas Eve. “This is the worst ignominy ever committed against Mexico’s cultural store,” the museum’s private Assn. of Friends said in announcing the reward. Mexican police said they have no leads in the case.
