Ironworkers’ Bodies Recovered
Workers this morning completed the tricky and dangerous job of sifting through wreckage to remove the bodies of three ironworkers who were killed Wednesday when a portion of the building they were working on collapsed in downtown Los Angeles.
The dead were identified by the coroner’s office as Edward Leon Winchester, 47, of the Los Angeles area; Michael James Golden, 29, of Upland and Patrick Duane Golden, 28, of Ontario. A spokeswoman for Ironworkers Local 433 said the Goldens were brothers. (Collapse story, Page 3)
