Thank goodness I have an open mind...

Thank goodness I have an open mind when I read the opinions of the so-called critics in The Times, as well as in other publications, who review miniseries. Otherwise I would have missed “North and South,” “Kane & Abel” and “Mussolini: The Untold Story.” I commend the networks for carrying this kind of programming and hope it continues. I am looking forward to NBC’s “Peter the Great,” no matter what the critics may say.
