USIU Women Beat Dominguez Hills, 99-53

The U.S. International University women’s basketball team defeated Cal State Dominguez Hills, 99-53, Saturday in the second round of the Sizzler basketball tournament at Northern Arizona University.
Daisy Mendes led USIU with 24 points. Toya DeCree added 23 points and 12 rebounds. USIU led at halftime, 51-31. The Gulls will play Northern Arizona at 5 p.m. today.
