HIGHLIGHTS: Hesperia Christian led 22-20 at halftime after holding Fernando McLean (FB) to four points. But the 6-4, All-Delphic League forward scored nine points in the third quarter to key the Contenders’ comeback. . . . With two minutes left in the game, Hesperia Christian cut the lead to two, but the Contenders hit the front end of three one-and-one bonus shots. . . . McLean finished with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 steals. . . . Dirk Brolsma hit on 7 of 11 shots for 19 points.
