Fun Way at Cambridge

The article by Jerry Payne, “Learning the Fun Way at Cambridge” (Nov. 3), creates an erroneous impression of the Cambridge/UCLA program. I participated in the program in 1980, 1984 and 1985, and I can assure you that it is not a travel experience. It is in all respects a serious educational experience. . . .
The article with its supercilious approach does a great disservice to UCLA inasmuch as the Extension Division is trying to develop the Cambridge program as a serious educational experience. . . .
