Sites Are Set for Two Semifinals

Edison High School won a coin toss and will play host to Sunset League rival Westminster in Orange Coast College’s LeBard Stadium on Friday night in the semifinal round of the Big Five Conference football playoffs.
The game is a rematch of the Sunset League opener in which the Lions upset the Chargers, 24-14. In another county matchup, La Quinta (10-2) will play host to Newport Harbor (10-2) in the Central Conference playoffs in Garden Grove Stadium on Friday night.
El Toro won a coin toss and will play host to Mission Viejo in the Southern Conference. Earlier this season, El Toro defeated Mission Viejo, 24-17, to win the South Coast League title. The game site will be determined Monday.
